On 121 197 794 vehicle-location records from Prague, within-day delays are persistent (AR(2) sum 0.73 on bus, 0.72 on tram) and the persistence sits in a slowly moving state a traveller can watch. The short version. The dogs have the longer one.

Data & cloud engineer at Alma Career in Prague: a cross-cloud data platform on AWS and GCP, the infrastructure-as-code that provisions it, the observability that keeps it honest, and LLM systems over the warehouse that get measured before they get trusted. Before that, production machine learning at Golemio, Prague's city data platform, which is where the transport records in the works above come from.

Studied Finance and Data Analytics at IES, Charles University (thesis 2026; all three hypotheses revised by the data) and Data Science and Cybersecurity at VŠE (thesis nominated for the national IT SPY award, 2025). Spoke at Prague City Data Congress 2025 and Smart City Expo Barcelona 2024.

Lives in Prague with Varinka and a second dog who declined to be posterised, works from Berlin when possible, surfs in Portugal when the forecast allows. Coffee, always.
